Automatic capacitor banks type BKT-88N (without reactors, max. 1200kvar)
Taurus-Technic capacitor banks are intended for reactive power compensation within the networks with rated voltage 400,525,660 V with equal load on each phase. These are fully automatic and independent instruments which keep power factor on required level.
They are equipped with individual protection of each capacitor step and contactors controlled with automatic, microprocessor reactive power factor controller.
Taurus-Technic capacitor banks are made on the basis of high quality Nokian energetic capacitors built of self-regulated dielectric. These are dry capacitors fully safe for environment. Capacitors are equipped with specially designed modern cooling system.
Capacitor steps inside banks can be of both equal and different size. Step ratio referring to the first one can be for example 1:1:1:1 ,1:1:2:2 , 1:2:2:2, 1:2:3:4, 1:2:4:4. There is also circulation effect. This allows to load contactors more evenly(at a uniform rate) and decreases maintenance requirements. Target power factor value can be set up by user. Extra large capacitor banks are usually divided into sub-capacitor banks (max. 400 kvar each) equipped with their own supply circuits but with one reactive power controller for all sub-capacitor banks.
Assembly within constructions type TC-600 allows to blend the capacitor bank easily inside typical low voltage switchgears, both new ones and already existing. For networks with high distortion caused by harmonics we offer our Taurus-Technic Automatic Capacitor Banks with blocking reactors type BKD-95.
We manufacture the whole range of capacitor banks which correct power factor. We also offer capacitor banks thiristor switched on for high-variable reception type TBKD-99.
External use versions also available(for all types).
